Family Friends of Scouting Your support is vital to the success of the Scouting program. It is only through the Family Friends of Scouting campaign that we can continue to provide on-going support to our Scouting units. Friends of Scouting helps pay for camperships, training, program materials, roundtable, membership support and much, much more. If you missed the training in October, please contact Allie Gardiner to get your packet and your information from the training.
FREE MONEY FOR SCOUTING! Many companies offer an annual volunteer matching gift or matching donation program. For example, Qwest just restarted their program of giving $500 to an organization the employee volunteers 60 hours at within a 6 month time, for a maximum of $1,000 a year! Xcel Energy also does a volunteer hour matching program, as well as matches every dollar you give to Scouting! The forms that need to be filled out are REALLY simple. SOME of the additional companies that have similar programs include 3M, State Farm, Imation, American Express, Avon, Ecolab, Fortis, Lutheran Brotherhood, Microsoft, Mobil, St Paul Companies, Tennant, Toys R Us, and West Group! All dollars raised can be used towards your FOS goal.
