Scouts Needed For A First Aid Team

The Dakota County Gun Club is having their Ladies Day Annual Gun Shoot on; Saturday, August 20th, 2016, from 11:30AM - 6:30PM, at 17501 Station Trail, Rosemount, MN 55068.**Heads up to the Ladies in Venturing Crews and the Adult Leader Ladies**

They have asked if male or female Scout's who have First Aid Training (certified with a CPR/AED/First Aid card), could work the event as part of a First Aid Crew. Here is a link to the event:

The event draws a crowd between 250 to over 500 women depending on the weather and etc.The event is very well run with safety in mind and no scouts would ever be in danger as they would be working away from the actual shooting, archery, and bowling pin ranges. The SWAT Squad from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport Police Department will also be on site with their mobile command post, which is really neat for youth to see. There will also be Co-Ed, Youth Trap Teams from various surrounding communities assisting with the event.

I myself, work the event every year as a State of Minnesota certified Emergency Medical Responder/First Responder and could use scouts to assist me with responding to First Aid Medical Calls.
